McCormick Big 6 mowers were built from 1915 to 1934. This model was constructed exactly like the McCormick No.6 except that it was built heavier throughout, with a larger frame and higher wheels. The Big 6 was biult in 4 1/2,5,5,and 7 foot sizes. Regular equipment included a tongue, neckyoke, doubletrees, and two sickles. A bright red frame, yellow tongue and tan wheels with blue rims made this mower an impressive and colorful site. The 1929 price ranged from $81 to $88. A variety of extra-cost attachments were also available. This info copied from 150 Years of International Harvester by C.H.Wendell; a very through book indeed. Hope this answers your question.
