I have a yellow under red 340 and the man I got if from stated that it had been used by the highway dept of NC. He had bought the tractor at a state dispersal sale about 30 years ago. He told me the state had had the red paint applied prior to disposing of the tractor and that the paint was fresh when got the tractor. At that time all NC state equipment was painted yellow.
