If it is a fast hitch planter for the SC it is a C-251 most likely. There was a couple other models but most are 251's. They are very good planters. A picture would help a lot.
There was also an attachment(optional) to lock the drawbar in position. Then the cylinder could be removed and used on trailing equipment needing a cylinder. A piece of heavy iron cut to the right length will work. Just remove cylinder and mount the iron to the cylinder mounts. A easier way would be to install quick connectors and just unhook them from the FH cylinder and use another cylinder as hoses would need to be longer anyhow.
I have 3 different mounted planters for the SC. Email me and I will send pics of them to you. I don't have them loaded to photobucket and my computer is giving me fits so that will be easier than trying to post them here. I may even be able to help with some psrts for the fertilize units depending on what you need.
Binder books and maybe even YT has manuals for the C-251 and many other planters. Some parts for them are still available from CaseIH. Parts from many other models will also work.
Email me and we will get it lined out. I plant with these every year.
