I cruise purple wave auctions frequently and have bought some stuff through them. It is fairly local to me and they have been good to deal with.
They just had a government auction that ended with a interesting tractor. I can"t recall the number of the tractor but it works out to be an industrial version of an 800 series IH. Maybe an 826 or 856? Apparently what they had ended up being rare. Auction ended at over $56,000.
I saw it when it went up and thought it was a pretty straight old loader tractor. Surprised me when I checked in on it. My brother said there was an article in the paper as it surprised them too.
