I have a similar experience on my 400 with the power steering. Actually headed to the shop now this afternoon. My project started before spring work and hasn't ended as hay and custom hay came next. Now dad's started mowing second cause he got to the seat first. So long story short, I will go see if my hunch is correct on mine and let you know. Mine PS sucks unless outside or any remote is stroked. Also had issues lifting plow last summer doing demo plowing. So if I'm right ill try to be of help.
