That may be a 400D your friend has, but it must have undergone some modification somewhere along the line. First, the 400, diesel or gas, had a 4 cylinder engine. Secondly, that series had the torque amplifier available as an option and that would have been the route most purchasers would have chosen to get more than the standard 5 gears. If this really is a 400 it must also have an extended frame to accommodate the 6 cylinder engine.
