A week ago I put in a radiator core in my 39 F-20 and was worried about the height. It ended up working out and seems to be in good shape. When I ordered my core I also ordered a core for my dad's 37 F-20. We put it in today. After it was all together we put in a gallon of coolant and waited and watched for any leaks. We found one on the bottom of the core. After a closer look I had the same problem that BruceS. had and the core is bowed because it was too tall. Talk about a kick in the teeth. I guess I am going to take a picture and make a phone call Monday to get another core and see about returning this one. It seems like in dealing with some of these new Chinese parts that patience is a must. I am thinking about making shims like Bruce did on my next attempt. Don't you just wish some things would go easy the first time.
