2 gauge might be on the small side for a C. They have pretty long cables. Put a pair of 2ga or bigger jumper cables (not booster cables)in parallel with the existing setup direct from battery ground to the starter motor mounting bolt, and the other from hot to the starter switch terminal. This doubles the amount of copper in the path. If it spins now, 0ga cable might be needed, Jim
