I have used anti-sieze and it has worked well, fifteen years+ now on a SH since it got all new springs,discs and balls...still works like the day I did it,but, this tractor gets used often. I think the troubles start when they sit around alot and get rust going. At that time I got parts at the IH dealer, maybe what you can get now is only from the Far East? dont know, but if so, I would rather have the rusty OE stuff than the kinda-fit China parts, IMO.
