Yea ya can ADJUST the free travel , ya can adjust the trans brake and ya can adjust the dump valve As to taking hold almost at the top that is normal. The settling of the three point that is not normal and the 3 point piston seal is leaking more then likely , but untill it starts hick upping when running i would not worry about it as that is a bunch of heavy work to fix it ..
