Spent some time in the shop yesterday "cleaning up" the home engineering solutions on the WD-9. Figured I would show what can happen with a grinder and a lot of time. I apologize for some of the "what is this" or "where does this go" questions, but I got it midproject last summer from a fellow member.

I got a little carried away with the cutoff wheel, but I will just weld the slots up and grind them back down. It's my body guys problem after that. :lol: I got the square tube off the seat post, but a PO welded the rear most bolt completly solid (you can see it if you can figure out what I am talking about) They also went nuts with the welder up front. It also looked REALLY worn out up front before they came up with this "solution." I hope I can find a good seat post because this one will be tough to salvage.
I also bent the snot out of the bracket thing that holds the post. That looks to be the same as about every letter series tractor out there so it should be cheaper and easier to get a good used one.
What does this broken off bolt hold? My guess is the thing that holds the PTO lever/arm in the right position. Kind of a bad picture, that is the PTO right below. Picture taken from straight above.
What is really supposed to be here? I broke my 1/2" drive Craftsman ratchet and bent up my breaker bar trying to get that left hand bolt out. It is still there for now.
What is this rod/lever thing? It is left of the steering column. Choke is off and on the right side of the column. It is way too small to be belt pulley rod and the tractor doesn't have one. I'm out of guesses, but I bet I feel dumb when somebody says what it is.
