I had the Farmall H radiator re-cored and made like new. So I rebuilt the water pump, got new hoses, a thermostat and all the usual things you need for this sort of job. The radiator came back with a new core and all looked excellent. So I fitted the radiator. Farmall H and M owners know all about having to remove the steering shaft and the cursed studs in the bottom of the radiator. Fitted hoses and all was well. Filled the radiator and… rapid dripping. Tightened up the lowest hose and that leak stopped immediately, but the radiator bottom tank leaks profusely. So now I will have to remove it again. Next time. I'll plug the drain and fill the thing BEFORE it goes back on the tractor. At least my wife had the good grace not to laugh!
