Hi,the 2 relief valve are pilot type. On the left side of the transmission, it have a rectangular cover with 6, 3/8 bolts. Drain the oil, remove the cover and the center section is here. The forward relief valve is on the left side of the center section, the reverse, on the right side. It have a steel pipe secure to the relief valve, same on the other relief valve. Those pipe goes to the FNR control, then to the foot n inch valve. Check the FNR lever adjustement, if the lever, when in neutral, is not in the center of the cadran, when you engage in forward or reverse, push left or right, the lever close a valve in same time, in the adjustment is not OK, the valve leak and not close the relief valve.
