I have the torque values for an H and am wondering if they are the same for a 300. What I have are 43 for rods and 73 for the head. I would have had it together by now but the piston I got was not the piston I ordered, and it has taken the guy a while to sort it out. Everything else is ready to be reassembled. I bought some assembly grease at NAPA and am wondering how much to put on the rod bearing and on the wrist pin. Is it more of a problem to put on too little or too much? Also I am wondering what I should do about the new rings and new piston. I was told to oil them well when installing but would like to make sure. I have read up on the ring gap and am planning to aim for .012-.016 and put each ring gap 90 degrees away from the one below. Any advice will be much appreciated. Zach
