I bought a petcock valve for my Harley a few years ago. It's chrome(of course) and replaced the drain plug on my oil tank. It is convientant, especially since they sized the oulet perfect for a 5/16id hose. Hook a piece of hose up, open the valve, and drain without a single drop of oil anywhere but in the catchcan. the same thing could be done in this case.
