I just caught this, and I know you just typed it wrong accidentally, but I want to clarify for anyone reading who doesn't know the difference.
You set the intake valve when the exhaust valve on the same cylinder is just beginning to open, and you set the exhaust valve on said cylinder when the intake just fished closing. If you set the intake after the exhaust just closed, you will be in the overlap section of the cam and your intake will not be anywhere close to correct.
