I don't know who told you the 386 was a replacement plug for your 560, but they must have the wrong information because Autolite's own listing does not show it as being for the 560. In IH applications, it is primarily used as a starting plug on the gas start diesel engines. The 3116 is listed as the replacement plug for your 560.
