I tried posting this earlier today but it seems to have gotten lost in cyperspace. Sorry for any inconvenience if it shows up again.
I got out the Super C my Dad purchased new in 1952. It had been out of the family and I got it back a few years ago and it needed some work. Seems there are still two problems:
1) It seems to miss a bit. I have replaced the spark plug, but any suggestions on what to look at and test before I start throwing money at parts (points, spark plug wires, etc.)
2) Once it is warmed up, it does not seems to idle back. Is there a loose spring somewhere? Or a more serious problem?
Thanks in advance. I know it is hard to make a diagnosis from a distance but I appreciate any help.
