Years back, I did a 12V conversion on a Super C for an old high-school buddy. Used the 12V generator and regulator off an old Rambler that I had parted out, swapped out the bulbs, and reversed the wiring on the ammeter since we went from positive to negative ground.
Hardest part was swapping the wires on the back of the ammeter...so it was a fairly easy job.
