I`m curious what part # is on the weights you have for the 404, 240 & 340. The original weights for the 240 & 340 are part # 371389R1 LH side & 371390R1 RH side. These will NOT fit on a 404, believe me I have tried and failed !! The part # for the 404 weights are 371389R3 & 371390R3. Only difference in the part numbers is the change from R1 to R3 at the end of the part #. These weights WILL fit all 3 models. The difference is there is more clearance on the inside part of weight where it comes around to the front to clear the sheet metal below the grill on the 404. Not trying to be a smart---, just clearing up any confusion.
