Bought this ol' 1066 a fews years ago. I just work the livin' 'snot' out of it ever year.
I've got 'er turned up just as far as I dare go to pull this wide-azzed disc of mine.
Anyhoo this past winter sent 'er in to the red shop for a front end rebuild, this and that, but mostly to get rid of that darned "thump" in the intake. Told 'em to adjust the valves.
Jest of the story is what a difference that made!
Totally made a different tractor out of the thing. Gobs more power, stopped that black smoke, no more lugging down and it now runs cooler.
