It is supposed to be marked with a triangle shape stamped after serial number. Surest way though would be to pull a brake shaft out, check bearing numbers on shaft and look in at the differential carrier bearings. Original were ball bearings on diff and change over was to tapered roller bearings. Brake shaft was still ball bearings but larger and then in a later bearing up date they were changed to a flat bower roller bearing. That was not mandatory as customer assumed reduced price for the bearing pkgs. You could also check part numbers on the differential support housings and inner brake plate.
