Well i bought a 450D a while back and have been going over before I start using it. I found up stuff ads up REAL quick on the engine. Its gonnna cost around $100 to put in a seal and couple gaskets in the pump to stop the dsl from getting into the oil resavoir on the pump itself. I'm hoping I won't get into anything more serious, but i wouldn't doubt it. I also have a 400 gas, much simpilar to work on, but theres just something about that old diesel that I like. My 2 cents.
