Hi ltf, I think you miss understood my post as I was refering to a "diode switch" designed like they use in a 12/24v series/parallel switch. I think the diode switch design was new in 1998 and it's nothing I ever seen. The design replaces a mechanical relay switch designed for a running 12v system with a 24v starter in the loop and charges both batterys. The circuit looks very promising for a high currrent switch. If you would like I can scan in a copy of the schematic. T_Bone
