I cleaned off the number plate and there seems to be nothing there. I am going to try and make a pencil etching of the plate. The J was a total mistery to me also. I looked over some restored 140's at our farm show and non had any letters on them. This will be a good winter project for me. Still looking over this three point hitch that is an aftermarket design. One old timer told me he knew of one (he is 85 and I am 61) but never saw it. Thanks
