350 is a good engine. I had 84,000 miles on my 90 GMC PU when I traded it. It wasn't even using oil. My farm neighbors got 250,000 plus out of two GMC pickups. Neither one had ever had the heads pulled. I currently have a 98 Chevy Silverado pickup and it has run beautifully.
