Sam, I used a clamp from pneumatic wheel on a steel wheel and so far have had no problem. As well as I remember it seems the bolt size for the steel wheel is slightly larger but the clamp holes are large enough to make it work without drilling. The spacing of the holes on the clamp matched the holes on the wheel. There was some difference in opinions when I researched making this work and from what I was told I was skeptical that it would fit. The cavity in the wheel has more open space using the pneumatic clamp than the original but seems to do the job.
