I have not pulled the larger top cover. To get it off I need to remove the belt pulley, which is blocked by the hydraulic resevoir, which is under the instruments... The service manager had a work around, cut the top cover in two.
In anycase, I adjusted the levers when I installed the new pressure plate. They were all different heights when it arrived.
