T/A and clutch(es) were just replaced. The tractor is in direct, but the shift lever jams in gear once it warms up.
The problem is that there is no space between the T/A pressure plate cover and the friction plate in the pressure plate assembly, i.e. there in no room for the friction plate to lift. The T/A linkage is disconnected and the throwout bearing is not touching the levers on the pressure plate.
Service manager at our local IH dealer was mystified, but had helpful suggestions for getting the clutch out without removing the T/A..
I'm going to try 1/8" shims between the pressure plate and the flywheel.
