Bleeding those brakes is a different deal than most brake jobs. They are not power brakes, however they have a keep full system that the oil cooler return feeds so they never run out of fluid. You can sometimes bleed them successfully by just putting a hose on bleeder, opening it up, return fluid to filler and run engine at a higher rpm . This is done without moving the brake pedals at all. If this doesn't provide a flow you may have to pinch off the hose coming from oil cooler to reservoir to build some pressure. Yes, make sure the hand brake works good. Common to leave them engaged and take the linings off. Major job to replace it.
