My neighbor Ernie replaced one earlier this year. He simply jacked it up, unbolted the cap, and fished the old bearing out. He had no problems at all. If you have not gotten a new one yet, check with Ken Updike. A beefier one from one of the numbered series will work in there. Those outer bearings are a weak spot on the M. Ken's number is 608-455-2411.
