Well,I guess I am a little tired of getting the F*CK kicked out of me on here,so right now I AM LOOKING AT 3 SUPER M TAs for under $7000.00(Ranging from $5500.00 to $6800.00)These are nice tractors,NOT over the top.HAVE NOT SEEN THEM IN PERSON!
Auctions like those are what might be responsible for setting the bar too high!!!! People see a 2 stage paint job,100 hrs or less original on Barrette Jackson actually GO for $10,000.00, and all the sudden theirs with the manure scoop on it in the barn lot with a flat tire is worth that too,I guess?????
Granted, they ARE NOT concourse "OVERLY restored".(I guess the term "restored" woud have to be defined??? ) Maybee location has SOMETHING to do with it??? A STANDARD Super M TA is NOT that rare!!!!! The diesel is.A High crop is.Serial # 501 IS!!!!! The prototype is!
Buying a tractor is hard to describe in a forum "blog".But some are just worth more than others.
I have seen MANY an MTA go for about $1500.00 over the regular Super M. The TA is more of a "novelty item/collector thing" these days.I passed up on 3 of them to get to my Super M,but I am talking about a working tractor.(NOT a "shower"!)That torque had NO benefits to what I was doing.
I would love to see that photo of that $10,000.00 M TA????
And BTW,YES you can get good money for the diesels in BAD condition, but the engine will financially ruin you!

Well, he decided to go get Mom out of the house and have her drive the tractor while he walked behind the plow. You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o
