I recently found the receipt for the tires, rims and tubes I put on my M in 2004 when I went through it. 2x 6.50 - 16 fronts, 2X 15.5 - 38 rears, (all Firestone bias), 4 new rims and 4 tubes were $983 from a long time local tire man whose prices could not be beat... He's now passed on. I priced it all through Miller recently and boy did I get sticker shock... One single 15.5 Firestone is just about as much as I paid for everything in 2004...
I added up my receipts just for materials and parts and this tractor was solid to begin with and I was at just a bit more than $4600 in 2004... Since then I've gone through the brakes and some trans seals. I don't even want to add up the costs in 2012 dollars... holy wha...
