How old IS the fuel??? I have mixed old gas before in different ratios and burned it before.Be sure and strain it!(brass screen funnel and a coffee filter!)
If your in an isolated area(Country boy,like me!!!),put a SMALL dab on a paper towel on concrete and throw a match on it and see if it "WOOFS"!!!! (You can pretty much tell its combustibility! ;)
