Safety first. Be careful. I have pulled about 5500# of big round hay bales on a well balanced hay hauler with my 46 A. Didn't have any trouble, but I stayed on reasonably flat ground. Stayed off the hills and didn't get out of 2nd gear -- got good brakes but not enough tractor weight to stop a heavy load. Also, for a hayride, make sure you have front and rear lights if your going on the road.
