If you are going to replace the mains by all means pull the engine and get it on a stand so you can remove the crank and get it ground or else just hone the walls and re-ring depending on your use it could last a long time well. Your best plan would be take the block and have someone replace the sleeves you can install bearings and seals yourself if you have the tools and some esperience. But if money is the big factor hone the walls and re-ring remembering in the long run doing everything will be the best for the future.
