Before I put the gas tank back on the C after the overhaul, I have been wondering what the two clips were for. The flat one at the bottom of the picture is attached to the touch contol box lid. There has been something sliding thru it. The "v" clip is attached to the right side of the steering post. It is right next to the hole in the tool box. Thanks.
