The Super H will have disc brakes with 6 bolts on the cover, and it will have C164 cast on the block somewhere, I can't remember where. Super H will also have long axles, 6" longer on each side than an H. SH would indicate that at least the serial tag is for a Super. Another thing is casting codes, these are different than part numbers. A casting code will read NUMBER-NUMBER-LETTER and the SH cast code letter for 1953 was Y. There are other differences too but I can't remember them. I had a parts tractor once that was SH from the rear of the clutch housing back and H from there forward, it was in terrible shape and the front casting codes were all over the map. Zach
