All the other info in this post is good, try it. Maybe someone else can explain this. I also am working with a non running M. I hooked up my pressure guage and let it dangle and tried a couple of cylinders and got zero and my heart sank, so on the next one I held the guage upright and got 100 psi. I redid the earlier ones holding the guage upright and got the same 100. I have a cheap guage and maybe was not using it correctly at first or later. Looking forward to hearing from you and others on the subject.
