the 660 also has planetaries on the rear wheels. i run mine lots of times in the field at 1800-2000 just to save on fuel as no sense running at 2400 when not needed. if i encounter harder pulling i just giver more throttle. as for the t.a. i dont even know its there, never use it. pull a 5/16 #770 ihc plow in 2nd gear no problem at 2000 rpm. if you think it will be a dog just put the 660 pump on the 560 engine. also the 660 radiator is about 3" taller than the 560.
