Never really pulled a cultipacker by itself with an H or M or W-6. We had an 8 foot double drum Durham we pulled in front of a 3 section springtooth drag or 8 ft. double disk in tandem right after moldboard plowing. We also pulled it behind our grain drill planting oats, wheat, rye, or spelts.
In later years I pulled a 30 ft. single drum over planted beans on no-till ground with a Ford 5000 to punch down stones.
