Drain and use a vinegar flush in the system. If it sat with coolant in it and you did not change it or you change it with out flushing it you could have a lot of rust etc in the cooling system. Drain it out then fill with vinegar and run it till good and warm let sit so as to be safe to drain it out. Drain it then hook a hose to the block drain and back flush it with a garden hose. Also spray out the radiator it self with the hose
