I have been going through the exact same thoughts. I elected to buy a cab for my 806D, I didn't think I could Justify another tractor at this time. I wound up with a solid IH Custom cab off a '66 series, I had to make some filler plates for the floor and need to make a new panel for around the fuel tank. My only complaint? I think I just put a loud cab on a notoriously loud tractor. I haven't yet put a foam kit in it, I'm waiting for the weather to get a little warmer for the adhesive. And I haven't really gotten to use it yet (No Snow), So I don't know for certian how well the heater will work. Visibility seems acceptable, though. If you'd like, I'll get some pictures around and post them sometime. I think it looks kinda cool on the tractor, myself. Although, I already know I'll miss the open station in the summer!
