Dave, Though I'm not a fan of the grey variety of tractors, the Farmall A did not come with hydraulics other than a pneumatic lift which used manifold pressure to raise implements and let gravity put them down. Super A's on the other hand had hydraulics and in my opinion are twice the tractor than a grey one. Implements are available for the A or Super A. You just have to seek them out. I have an A and have never had a problem with it wanting to be top heavy. Even with the off-set engine/seat arrangement, they are pretty stable. Caution is always advised when operating these or any other type of tractors.//FB
