If you could find a good 310 it would be the better engine.But for ease of installing the 282 would be the best choice in my opinion.You could use the same flwheel clutch and rear motor plate fan.If the 282 had the right front timeing cover on it that woud fit the engine frame.Would need a diferent air cleaner and some throttle linkage,fuel return line, glow plug meter and wire.I think that pretty much covers it.
