Pretty simple fix. Replace the battery cables with 00gauge welding cable with soldered on ends. The use of automotive #4 cable is not going to pass enough current to fire the ignition and crank it. if (and only if those cables are serious and connections great, should you look at the starter. This assumes the battery is fully charged and will put out 5.5 volts (measured across the battery terminals when someone is cranking it over) If cables are good and voltage is less the battery may be getting weak. Starter motors do get worn bushings and drag the armature on the frame. Or shorted internally and get weak. If the above does not fix it go back several pages to find my description of rebuilding a starter, or have it done. Jim
