The hood isn't that hard to find - parts places have them and they always seem to show up on EBay. The emblems are also available on E-Bay - both reproduction and used originals.
I've always liked the 300/350 (we had a 300 growing up and I have a 350 I bought in 1998). They are much handier to use than an H (live PTO, live multiple port hydraulics, fast hitch) will being just as fuel efficent. Other than the TAs they seem to have stood up very well to the rigors of time and use. Mine has the original TA (according to the last owner).
It looked rougher than a cob (tires and paint were horribly weathered from decades of sitting outside) when I bought it but the sheet metal was good and the hours were fairly low. After draining the transmission (had over 5 gallon of water and was at least 3 gallon overfull) and doing 20 years of maintence in a week it has soldiered on very well for the last 14 years.
