It is the tractor. After I read all the comments here bout it possibly being fake I still decided to take a look. after all it was only an hour drive. so When I got to looking at the serial number plate I could read the number on the tag. He told me he tried to read it with a magnifying glass and still could not make it out. And from reading some other post I was able to find an approximate list of serial numbers from when they started and quit making the demonstrator. this one fit in the rang so the other concern of mine was the engine it is the wrong engine but it runs great and drives nice so I figured I could always swap out the engine for a new one anytime. I paid 1,900 for her but I feel the shape she is in is an ok deal. a standard Farmall C in my area with the same condition give or take a little will still bring 1,500-1,700.
