My '45 A model came with 9.00x24 tires on 8x24 wheels. One tire was shredded and I took it off of the rim with a handsaw and chisel. The other tire is starting to split and refuses to hold air.
I received a set of 12.4x24 tires with about 50% tread and minimal sun damage from a friend of my dad's that has a Super A. The 12.4x24 tires were on 10x24 wheels that were rusted out. Is it possible to put the 12.4x24 tires on my good 8x24 wheels or do I need to go shopping for some new(er) wheels?
