The 240 ran many more RPMs. The one i had ran pto speed before it was at full RPMs according to the tach. You must also remember the 240 had better tires and wt for traction. You will need good 9.5 with probably two wts per wheel if you are going to do much plowing. Dont go with larger tires as that will cut your power too much as wt is the thing for the B when plowing. The B had very high ratings at the Nebraska tests but had wheel wts and if i remember weighed in at like 3200. I have pulled 2-12 with the B and power is no problem but traction is.
